Dear Dr and ladies

My last three cycles have been 29 days, 21 days and 30 days. This cycle 4 is again 21 days. Is there any reason that I should have a 21 day cycle every second or third month? Can anybody offer some advise? I don't know if I ovulated or not. This last cycle I had a + OPK on cd 12 which means I should of only got af 14 days after that but af showed on cycle day 21.

Hi Amandae,

Chances are that this is all normal...on your last cycle in which you had a + OPK of cd12 but af on day 21, your OPK may have turned positive first at about cd6 and you simply may have gotten the tail end of it. Another explanation may be that your bleed on cd21 is simply not AF...Have seen several other users with similar cycles..

It does sound like you're ovulation and hope you get a BFP soon!

Thank you Dr Q for your advise. I think I will have to start Opk testing from day 6 or so from now on.
