Provera, ovulation, BBT shift

I am 26 and have 2 healthy children, both of whom were conceived fairly easily - with only about 2 months of charting. My youngest was born in May of 2006 and I began having regular periods in September (4 months post partum). I had regular cycles of 31-33 days for 4 months and then in January I began having very irregular periods (irregular periods are VERY abnormal for me) that have gotten progressively longer (33 days, 36 days, 44 days, 79 days and I'm currently on CD65). I do believe I ovulated last cycle around CD62, however I wasn't charting so I cannot be certain. Because we are ready to try for #3, this cycle I started charting and went to see my gyn and she did a vaginal ultrasound, checked my TSH (I have hypo.) and did an hcg test to make sure I wasnt pregnant. Once she received the results of the ultrasound, she started me on Provera 10mg daily to induce a period. I am currently on day 8 of Provera and am concerned about stopping it in 2 days. I have been charting this cycle along with OPKs and determined I ovulated the day I began the Provera. I will only be 10DPO when I finish and I doubt a urine test would be positive that early, my concern is that if I did conceive this cycle, will stopping the Provera cause me to miscarry? I am adding a link to view my chart (I didn't keep track of the "baby dance" much this cycle) but everything else is there.

Hi Laura,

If you're on Provera now and you did ovulate prior to starting, stopping or continuing the Provera on when scheduled would have no bearing on a pregnancy if you truly were to be pregnant. Your period would come as scheduled or it wouldn't arrive because of a pregnancy.
