provera and next meeting w/ AF

i dont think that how long a period matters when you are expecting a period. YOu will get your period 14 days after ovulation so if you can find that day you can know when AF should arrive :)

Chels I have been using the opk and still have yet to get a +. So I am not sure if it will be here on Tuesday, or if it will not come for a while. Thanks for answering me tho.

if you really havent ovulated then you wont get a + so i wouldnt worry.

Your cycle could be a bit messed up since you were on the provera.

I would say keep testing for O and see how that goes :)

Thanks I am just feeling emotional about this whole thing. It is a never ending battle. I wish things were easier and did not have to be so complicated. It can surely ruin my mood. =(

I know right! My mom use to always say she was fertle mertle and I better make sure I am always carefull, and the day we would decide to have a baby would be no problem. Yeah right. I wish that was the case. I am hanging in there, but it looks as tho we will have a long stretched out road ahead of us. I hope the dh is up for the ride....

I was on provera to induce a period, well I got it, but for 14 days. (14 days of bleeding)My question is will I still expect af 28 days from the day I started or will it change due to how long she was here? Need help from anyone with a similar situation, or from a Dr on here please. I need to see if I am going to start Tuesday or if I will start later. Thank you

u guys are on the right track :) and know much more than most docs out there about fertility...

Once you get your withdrawal bleed (AF) after Provera...one can bleed for a few days, weeks in your case, and this commonly happens when one isn't developing a follicle for O that creates Estrogen to develop the endometrium...

hence, it makes sense that you haven't gotten a positive OPK, and should consider seeking help through meds to help you O if this continues...

So does this mean that since I do not know if I will o then I will not know when to expect af?

I felt light headed a lot yesterday, and I am not sure if it has anything to do with being off on this whole af thing or not. I am realy woundering if I am still going to start on day 28-30 which is next week and if that is why I am feeling dizzy. ??? I also felt as if I were o cd15 but being that af ened on cd14 I don't know if that is possible.

Ok so I of course have been a little worried based on how I was feeling with the light headedness. It scared me b/c of who I felt when pg and it turned out ectopic. Since I can not seem to get anywhere on know when I should start or o for that matter, I took a hpt to rule that out. It was indeed - so Now I at lease know that that is not the case of things for this month. Plus I figures that if I tech should start on Tuesday I could take a hpt 5 days sooner and get the same answer as if I took it the day of. So now it is just a matter of seeing the specialist and hoping that he can inform me of what my body is doing and what I need to do from this point forward. I can not say that I am a wreck from seeing a - when I kinda prepard myself for it.
