Prolonged Bleeding???

Dr. Q, after taking 5 rounds of clomid I skipped Af for a month and finally started on April 25. Here it is 5 weeks later and I'm still bleeding. It ranges throughout the day from spotting to heavy flow. After spotting for the past 2 days I suddenly noticed a very heavy flow and passed a clot larger than a quarter. I've also been very fatigued and am starting to get worried. We don't have insurance right now and I can't run to the Dr unless I'm sure I need to go. Do you think I should be concerned? What are some common causes for a prolonged menses like this?

Oh and I took a hpt the other day and it was bfn. I thought that might have some relevance.

Hi Ashers...

Soo many things can cause abnormal bleeding that people go through lots of schooling to try and pick out all the causes (hence your Ob/Gyn)...It does warrant letting a doc know and hope you can have this addressed...

All day today I was passing very large clots. I really am worried about this now and will be trying to get in to see someone about it as soon as possible.

I haven't been able to make an appt w/anyone yet, but the bleeding has lightened to spotting again. I was only passing large clots for 48 hours. I'm glad that part is over. I'll let you guys know if I can get in and be checked.
