Hey Casey, do not worry hun. Sometimes your bubba might be bored and may not be intrested and that might affect her quickness in responding.

When you are not sitting right next to her, just make some noise or call her from a distance, she will respond.

My twins were in NICU for 10 days and passed their hearing test there. Sometimes at home (at 5.5 months) they won't repsond to us calling or talking as after a while playing they loose intrest, you can check by introducing a new sound to make sure.

Don't stress yourself, your little princess looks precious and she will do good at the appointment. My love and prayers for kailees appointment to go well.

Thank you Treans and WannaB. DH and I are trying to not get upset over nothing, and like WannaB said she could just be interested in something else. Kailee was in the NICU for 5 days and is now 23 weeks old. She has hit every developmental milestone for her age and above. She holds her own bottle, she rolls both ways with ease, hold her head up really well, can dang near sit up all by herself and has 2 teeth..lol I guess a mother's worry never ends.. =)

I am sure it is nothing, but we have to get it checked mainly b/c of the state department of Health requires re-testing for babies who were in a lvl2 nursery for over 24 hours and because Mommy and Daddy want it as well..lol

GL Ladies!!! I will kjnow more tomorrow of when she will get to see the ENT. Then I can get back to stressing over TTC..lol!

Yes Casey, I just seen this... I'm sorry to hear about that... I'm sure all will be great.. you know Kailee is just giving mommy and daddy hell already.. Its what we princess' do best!!! lol then we become Queens so someone has to give us queens hell right??? Let me know how things go hun... Love ya!!!

Casey, I'm so sorry I haven't commented on here until now...but, I've been off FT for almost 1 month cuz of my last m/c & some other crazyness & stress. My grandfather may be dying soon...his health is getting worse & he may need some surgery to fix the circulation in his legs from his triple bypass many yrs ago...which isn't a huge sugery, but w/his poor health & age could be deadly, he's getting weaker & more senile too. I'm suppose to try & visit on Sat, but I'm having probs w/my vechile & it needs to be fixed before I can travel. On top of that my oldest daughter was bitten by a tick recently & now I have to wait to test her for lyme diease. I'm happy to see alll those beautiful pics of Kailee she's so pretty! Just love her costume! I hope her hearing is fine & she's just ignoring you...as some kids like to do to their parents lol :). Regardless I will still be praying for you & your family. I hope you don't have PPD or PTSD & it's just stress & I'm sorry to hear AF came. I hope to hear from you soon just shoot me a text or e-mail, I have been praying for you & hoping everything turns out better for you soon hun! God bless & take care!

LOL Heather! I hope that is the case. This would be the onlytime she would get away with it too..lol

They just took my letter, and now we are waiting to hear from someone about making an appointment with the specialist. We have medicaid, and since her Peds office doen't have te equipment for the test we have to get a referral to the ENT doctor. Hopefully we will hear something soon. I'm thinking about videotaping her and the sounds she makes and her lack of repsonse to her name and stuff. By now she should be responding when someone calls her name... ugh.. regardless of the outcome of all this she is my little princess and is very loved by many people. I keep thinking of that movie 'Mr. Holland's Opus'.. good movie, you should see it if you haven't.

CD3 for me. Heavy Flow (TMI), no cramps but my back hurts soooo bad! I need a new matress..lol

Miracles- I am SS to hear about your grandpa. I pray everything works out, and he makes a complete recovery. We both have been through the ringer this year, that's for sure!

I hope your daughter feels better soon. I hate ticks!! lol

I can't text for a while.. my bill last month was 120 dollars over!! But, last month is excused b/c of eerything that happened with Mom. So this month I am on text restriction..lol

Kailee had her first teething cracker today! She ate them right up. We tried the Baby Mum-Mum Rice crackers, andthey dissolve, so no big peices can get lodged. I took lots of pictures, and will post some tomorrow. I also bought her some new cereal to try since she has done so good on her rice cereal. I went to the wholesale store, and bought bulk of solids, formula and gerber juices. I can't believe how much I saved on all those things!

Hopefully tomorrow we will hear something about our referral for Kailee to see the ENT specialist. FX we get this over with soon, so I can rest at ease knowing what is going on with my lil princess!!
