progesterone shoots may be altering my period???

as long as you are taking the shots of progesterone you will not get your period. Once you stop the shot (if you are not pregnant) then about 36 hours later you get AF.

Dont go off the shots until you doc tells you to tho, they need to be sure you are not pregnant. When will you go in to have a blood test done?

I will go this thursday, I talked to the doc, today and he told me to stop the shots until I see him..

Does anyone went through IUI?? How many times did it take to work??

I had IUI that resulted in preg, although it was a chemical preg. that was on the first try. The second one ( I beleive was too late after ov) was a bfn...and I'll be doing the third one next week!

on sept. I had an IUI that didn't end on pregnancy, my period showed up 2 weeks after the IUI, so I went to my doctor and he did an ultrasound and we saw two big follicles (it was my second day of my period) and the doctor said that we could not go with the next IUI after we make those big follicles disappear, so he gave me birth control pills to take for 21 days, after that my period showed again, the doctor made an other ultrasound on the second day of my period and there were no eggs, so he said it was ok to start with the medications to make the eggs grow and do the IUI again...

My question is: is it normal about the birth control pills????

they make you take them to reduce the cysts which is what he saw with the ultrasound. They werent follicles, they were cysts from the medication you were on. I have them now - i was on meds for the IUI which did not get me pregnant and when i went back to the doc to get started again the next month i had at least 5 huge cysts. They told me to wait til i got AF again and then they would re-check to make sure they were gone. Yes, you can also go on birth control to make them go away. My doc chose the "wait and see" method.

did you have little spotting? how many days before your expected period??
