Progesterone Pills to induce cycle?

no side effects. It just tricks your body into thinking it already ovulated since your prog levels are high and anywhere from 3-10 days later you should have a bleed.

Just regular prog side effect, some bloating and some sleepiness - oh and moody but i am normally pretty moody so who can tell the difference! LOL

you prob wont get a period for another couple weeks cuz of the m/c and D&C. I think i am appraoching ovulation so i should have regular AF in a few weeks. I had my forced m/c 3 weeks ago too as you know.

i actually have been a little crampy the last two days...maybe my body us trying to get back in gear...

i took the provera pills after not getting a period right after my first IVF cycle and it was weird! I took the pills after going to have an u/s to prove there was no ovulation or growing follies and then i took it for 8 days and was spose to have AF no later than 10 days after that and nothing...... more days go by and nothing so i go to have bloodwork and progesterone was high so they said i ovulated after taking the pills and i would have AF soon. I had it about 5 days later.

I took provera for 10 days just before I started my Clomid cycle. AF came 2 days later. Babyque, your situation maybe a little different than mine though...Baby Dust!!!!

I have taken it in the past and only had to take it for 5 days and af came a couple days after that. Today when i talked to the nurse she told me to take it until it start or up to 10 days. She said that some drs tell you to take it up to 14 days. I never really had any side effects with the provera or the clomid for that matter (although the dh says i get pretty moody on the clomid!!) :) Good luck!!

with the progesterone injections i always had AF 2 days after stopping the shots cuz the level dropped so quickly. I would guess its not gonna take long to get AF after taking the pills.

Babyque I am on the provera pills right now to induce AF & my docs alwasy give me a10 day supply but it does not always take all 10. I have started on them as soon as pill 3 in the past. Side effects only as Chels says-bloating & normal progesterone symtoms.
