Progesterone

June 09, 2008

Hi Dr Q,

My cd21 prog levels were 19, I know that isn't that great but it does show ovulation. Is it high enough to sustain and early pregnancy?

Hello,

mine was 18.1 and the dr. put me on prog. support after the trigger shot the month I was on injections. I got a BFN and had to take off one month due to cysts but I'm sure she will put me on it again next round. Lots of luck to you, hopefully dr. Q can give you a better answer.

Thanks HopeN, that gives me some hope!! (no pun intended) lol.. Did u have to take prog supplements to keep them high after u found out or did the rise on there own?

No Progesterone supplements Shawnee, some Drs like it more than 10 ng/ml, some over 15 ng/ml. Urs is 19 at CD 21 and if preggo is only goign to increase :)

Question Hope, implantation usually occurs around 6dpo right? Im 11dpo and having sharp little twingy cramps in my ovary.(or at least that's where it feels like) Do have have advice on what this could be? Thanks

Hi Shawnee, are you taking any meds? It sounds like the same cramping that I was feeling when I was taking Follistim and progesterone support. The nurse thought it might be implantation, turns out I had a BFN :O( but the nurse thought otherwise so maybe it is a good sign for you. ******BABY DUST******
