How does a dr. determine if you need progesterone suppositories. Do lower post-ovulation temps indicate that my prog. might be low? Is it normal to take a few days to rise far above the coverline?

Progesterone levels and suppositories are controversial to begin with...and no real guidelines for this...I don't check Progesterone levels on non-IVF patients...Talk to your doc to see if they follow any protocol for this..

i had my levels tested on day 21 of my cycle to see if they were good when i had the whole fertility work-up tests.

I would talk to the doc, its a pretty simple blood test to see what your number is after you have ovulated :)
