progest... question

hi dr q and ladies!

hope everyone is well..

i was wondering what a normal progesterone level should be on day 21 to indicate ovulation actually happened?

im currently on clomid 50mg and i am due to go for day 21 bloods this cycle.

previously they just told me i ovulated but didnt tell me my levels, this time im going to ask what they come back at and was wondering what i shouldlook for?

what is a normal progest level for day 21 bloods to show that you ovulated?

anything over 7 i think is ovualtion. :)

have you ever tried femera? I went thru the IUI's and IVF with injectables and i would like to try on my own without all the damn monitoring and go with Femera instead of clomid. I heard its better - like it doesnt make your CM all weird or mess with your lining..... i too ovulate on my own.

I read that you arent spose to do more than 6 cycles of clomid - what does your doc have to say about that?

I have read that closer to 20 is wanted for a "good" ov to get pregnant??? Mine was 32 the month I got pregs? However, I know MaggieMS was at about 7 when she got pregs

i read that anything over 14 is good enough to sustain a pregnancy.... who knows????

Take care Mrs, good luck with it all. Do you know what meds you will take if you go with the IUI or IVF? I went with follistim injections and had no issues, gained some weight but i think it was more of stress weight :)

Its a little overwhelming going into the IVF but the IUI's are a breeze! The intermuscular shots are the trigger shots and the progesterone injections for the IVF.

You O on your own and your DH sperm is a-ok? What do they think is the issue? have they ever said anything about your CM being screwy cuz of the clomid?

no, some men are put on clomid. i just posted about it last week and waiting for an answer from the doc. Angela put some great info on the post - check it out!
