pregnant again?

almost 4 weeks ago (oct. 5) i had a miscarriage. i was only 5 weeks along. well all of my pregnancy symptoms had gone, and now starting last week they are back. well i took a hpt last week and it was neg. was it to early? 10 dpo will be this wednesday should i take a test then or wait i am so confused. i hope i am pregnant again, but if i am will there be any increased chance of miscarriage since i just had one and had one 2 1/2 years ago?
