Pregnant after Mirena?

I had a Mirena IUD in for approximately 4 months. I had it removed on August 6th. Prior to my removal, I had a period. After the removal, I had another period (or bleeding). On August 8th, my boyfriend and I made love with no protection. This past Friday, we made love again with no protection and the put a pillow under my bottom to help the sperm "soak in". We are trying to have a baby! On Saturday afternoon, I went to the bathroom and I was spotting lightly. The blood was a medium reddish color. It only lasted a few hours. On Sunday, there was a bit more pink discharge. Is it possible for me to be pregnant after only being Mirena -free for less than 2 weeks? I hope the answer is "Yes"!

if you ovulated 2 wks ago and have intercourse during your fertile period it could be the only way to tell if your are preggo is via hpt and/or beta

Yes, it is possible, I had the coil for 4 1/2 years and it only took us 5 months to get pregnant with #3! My OB, said he took his wife's coil out and got pregnant that same month..... So now I am pregnant with my OB's wife...lol

It is possible. IUD's do not interfere with ovulation, though the mirena iud can.

Well, I still continue to wonder if I am "the big P"!! I looked at a calendar and I'm due to start my period next Friday. Maybe its just my super-hopeful imagination, but I swear my tummy looks like its bigger than normal and so do my breasts. How soon can I take a test? The anticipation is killing me!!
