Pregnant after D&C

Yes!! I didn't have sex right after my D&C because I had to have my lining checked (placenta didn't develop properly) but I knew exactly when I ovulated (CM was VERY obvious). I found out after I had my D&C from other mom's I know that they miscarried (mostly on their own) and they had sex 5 days later and were pregnant. I have heard that you are very fertile after a D&C.

When did you have your D&C if you don't mind me asking?

I had the D&C on May 23 and had unprotected sex on May 29????

Do you have a normal cycle (ie 28 days or whatever yours might be)?

No I was having irregular periods, went to get an ultrasoundsound to look for a cyst on my ovaries and found out that I should have been 13 weeks but there was no heartbeat

What are you confused about? You should start tracking your periods if you haven't already. So, May 23rd would be the 1st day of this cycle. You would be 6-7 dpo on a normal 28 day cycle. If you want a place to track your cycles, there is a great website to do it and its free. Mymonthlycycles.com. Do you think you were ovulating on the day you had sex?

I would try a pregnancy test at 10 dpo. That is the earliest a sensitive pregnancy test would show. So, Monday at the earliest. My last period was May 20th and I'm on a 27 day cycle so tomorrow, I'm 10 dpo and can test - again - at the earlies. So, you should wait until about Monday but again, that is assuming a 28 day cycle.

Thanks I was wondering when i should start my period again? So miscarrying would count as a period? so I should start my period again around the 23 of June?

28 days assuming your cycle is regular. Yes, count the beginning of your miscarriage (the day you had the D&C) as the start of a period. You bled after the D&C so its like a period. My period came 28 days later. I'm assuming your ttc?
