I had unprotected sex the day that my period ended, that was a month ago and now I am a day late and scared. Am I pregnant?

Hi Jillian, Its not very common to ovulate immediately after a period, but it can happen sometimes, though the probability is lesser.

Hi Jillian, I have not heard of that happening to anyone but seeing as how sperm can live up to 5days you could o early and this is possible..

Hi Jillian,

Our users are correct, in that if you were to ovulate soon after your period, then you can get pregnant...The problem is is that we don't necessarily know if and when you ovulated...Most people don't ovulate soon after their periods (within 5 days) and don't necessarily have a chance at pregnancy (sperm can live upto 3-5 days in the reproductive tract). But if you're late in having your period, then you may be pregnant, and won't know unless you take an hpt at this point...

Good luck, and keep us posted...
