Our users are correct, in that if you were to ovulate soon after your period, then you can get pregnant...The problem is is that we don't necessarily know if and when you ovulated...Most people don't ovulate soon after their periods (within 5 days) and don't necessarily have a chance at pregnancy (sperm can live upto 3-5 days in the reproductive tract). But if you're late in having your period, then you may be pregnant, and won't know unless you take an hpt at this point...
