Hello-I took an E.P.T. pregnancy test, where there is a plus sign if you are pregnant, minus sign if you are not. The minus sign is cleraly visible, but the plus sign is very faint. Can this mean that I am pregnant even thought the plus sign is very faint? Would the plus sign be faint if I had low levels of the pregnancy hormone? I have not missed a period yet, but should get it in about 5 days.

How many days past ovulation are you? I think it is still a little too early to be testing.

Hi Susan, usually, a faint line still means a positive. but its still too early. You must just be 9 or 10 DPO. So, to get a more accurate result, test in a couple of days to see if the line gets stronger and then you can confirm!!!

Thanks so much for the feedback! I am only about 10 days from ovulation, so I am sure I tested too early. My husband and I have been trying for 3 months, so I think I am going a little crazy wanting to find out as soon as possible!!!

It is more accurate if you test at 12dpo, not 10....and that is according to Dr. Q. I'd wait a few days and re test. Best of luck
