Pregnancy symptoms lessening

I am 11 1/2 weeks pregnant and though I am still sleepy and nauseas at times, I am finding my symptoms are lessening. I seem to have a little more of an appetite and my boobs are not very sore. I saw my baby on u/s at about 10 weeks and all was fine. Is it normal for symptoms to be getting better- most things I read say they don't get better until 13-14 weeks. I go in for a 12 week appt, but I am really anxious.
