Pregnancy Due Date Buddy??

Hi Tanya, I am due in February. I know that's a little earlier, but was just curios about how you feel this time with this being your 4th? This is my 4th as well. This time I was soooo sick and couldn't find anything that sounded good to eat. With my 2nd and 3rd I was showing at about 12 weeks and I am almost 13 weeks and still wearing my regular clothes. Very wierd. The only thing I can think of is maybe because I have over 4 years between this one and my last one. I don't know. I have 3 girls and everyone says it must be a boy because this is a different pregnancy, but I think it's just because I'm older. How are you feeling?

Thats what I was thinking before I even got to the end of your post.. That its another sex than what you have... In your case, boy!

I was horribly sick with my daughter, couldn't even hold down water and with both my boys I was just sick to my stomach all the time.. No vomiting but everything made me queasy..

This one, I'm having so many symptoms early on, like the sore boobs (like 7dpo)and headaches, and even heartburn.. No sickness, yet... But that usually doesn't kick in til about 7 weeks, so I got about a week and half to go..

Hopefully since symptoms have been different from my boys who r 2 & 4, that means this one is a girl, as I don't remember much from being preggo with her since it was so long ago..I'm waiting to see how sick I get to do any definite guessing..

I am super bloated also, I'm only 5 1/2 weeks but I look 4 mo. but that I had with my last boy also.. Other than that feeling great.. Just not looking forward to being sick soon....:)

I have been incredibly bloated too. I started having morning sickness before I even new I was pregnant. Never had that happen before, at least that early. Good luck to you and keep in touch.

Do you think this is normal for being 6 weeks today? Being bloated wouldn't look like this would it? I'm probably having twins, its a fear since it runs in my family..(4 sets on my side)

When will you have an ultrasound? Or yor next apt? If you were measuring big for how far along you were then the doctor would do an ultrasound to see why. I have heard that after 2 or more pregnancies you will pop out faster since your muscles are more relaxed. That's why I have been worried this pregnancy because I am not showing as much as with my others at the same time. Keep us posted.

I also wanted to say bloating makes me look like that. Then when I'm not bloated I look normal again. I've had a lot of people tell me "wow your already popping out." Then I say "no, I just really bloated." How embarassing to have to tell everyone that. Anyway, it could be twins or it could be bloating or it could be that your muscles are relaxed so everything is pushing out. It gets worse when I eat too.

Well, yes this is my 4th baby so I'm sure thats probably it, plus I'm sure bloating doesn't help.. I am nervous about twins because I swear I felt the ovulation cramps on both sides, and twins runs in my family, with 4 sets on my side.. I actually posted a question to the Dr's a couple weeks ago about ovulating on both sides and everyone that responded said it was possible so I guess I'll just have to wait and see.. My appointment isn't until Sept 16. I hate waiting that long to find out but thats how all the Dr's in this area are, they wait til you are 10-12 weeks.. I'll just drive myself crazy til then, lol.

Our doctors are the same way here. It is possible it's twins. I can't wait to hear.

Hi Tanya, I'm due April 10th with my 3rd baby! I have 2 boys, one is 8yrs old and the other is 5yrs old. I'm REALLY hoping for a girl this time too.

I've had much the same symptoms as you have...bloated, sore boobs, indigestion, heartburn, small appetite. I conceived via IVf so I figured that's what caused all the bloating...WRONG! It's just how it's going to be with this pregnancy. =)

Wow, we're really close!! My offical due date is April 12.. And I am SOOO hoping for a girl too, haha.. But my husband has only had boys so far so I'm thinking this one is too..



I'm trying to convince myself beforehand its a boy so I'm not upset at ultrasound.. Of course if it is a boy, once he's here you couldn't imagine it another way and are happy he is a boy!!

I'm feeling pretty good today, other than having only 3 hrs sleep last night!

Hello!! Congrats to everyone! My due date is April 8th!! Im soooo excited about this baby! I have had 2 m/c's and I am praying so hard that everything will be ok with this baby!

Those 3D/4D ultrasounds are so amazing... We live in a small town so they do not have the computers for it here, but was going to talk to Dr. about sending me to our nearby State Capital where they offer them.. I'm just curious if insurance will cover it..

ummm....I dont know about the insurance thing. I was lucky enough to be qualified for pregnancy medicade so I dont pay anything! I am so thankful for that because I am having a really hard time finding a job right now. No one is hiring.

Nicki, I love those U/S pics, I go in 4 more weeks to have another U/S done and to find out the gender!!!! :) I can't wait, I totaly think I am carrying a girl. I also hope you can find a job soon, I know it's a hard world out there right now...

Lucky you Nicki, I read they can be pretty pricey, up to like 500$!! We can't afford that but my sister is a nurse and said our hospital recently got the equipment, just wasnt working properly for measurements, so hopefully they'll have it ready by the time 20 weeks rolls around, then I think my insurance would cover it, but not if I choose to go to a different hospital.. 9 1/2 weeks left til I find out the gender... I'm counting the days, I can't wait!!

Nicki and Rachel.. What was your baby's heartrate last time they checked? Based on wives tales, mine sounds like a girl at 160.. Both my boys were around 138-140 and my girl was around 157-160.. But his/her arms and legs were kicking away and looked like he was doing cartwheels, so that could be why it was high, with being so active at the time....

Hi Rachel! How far along are you? Im excited to find out the gender too! I cant wait! Im hoping my doc will do the ultrasound to find out the gender as soon as he can!

Tanya- My babys heart rate was 150. My baby was also going crazy! Moving around like you wouldnt believe! Im going back to the doc next tues and I will be 12 weeks and im hoping he will try to hear the heartbeat with the doppler!

Hey ladies! My baby's HB has been 145, and 150. My son's HB was around 160, so who knows.

Nicki I am 15 weeks today!!! I can't wait to find out the gender, it's killing me!!! LOL I hope you get to hear the HB, it's amazing, we herd mine at 10 weeks, now I am feeling my little one moving around, I LOVE IT!!! I go to the doc on Wed. I will give you guys an update!

Your boy was 160? Well there goes my theory that the heartrate is actually accurate to predict gender, haha.. Oh well, time will tell:)

Hi ladies. I am glad to hear that you all are doing so well. I am due on March 15, which makes me 14 weeks and 5 days. I had some spotting last weekend and the Doctor did an u/s. He said that everything was fine and he thinks that it might be a boy. We'll do another u/s in a couple of weeks.

I also rented a doppler from babybeat and the heartbeat tends to run about 160. It's a great investment if anyone has considered. It runs about $30 a month.

Rachel, when did you start feeling the baby move? I have seen mine move on the u/s, but it's my first baby and I guess I don't have a clue as to what I am feeling (or not feeling yet). Hopefully I will feel something soon.
