pregnancy backaches and cramping

I just found out that I am 2 1/2 weeks pregnant through IVF. I am having lower backaches and they are killing me where it hurts to walk. I am also starting to get period like cramping. I go see the doctor tomorrow for blood work. Is this common?

YEs, sometimes after IVF the ovaries are still enlarged and with the growth of the uterus you may continue to feel pain. I would take some tylenol, not motrin or advil and make sure to attend your exam tomorrow.
