If they are the STDs that can cause tubal obstruction (not HPV per say), then yes but usually only fully agreed that it would be because of obstructing the tubes..
The main culprits that are known are Gonorrhea and Chlamydia...
There are some infections that cause STDs though that are not these...If one has Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID) through an infection, then one is at risk for tubal occlusion and infertility...
