Yes its very normal but just take a lot of rest for at least 4 days from the day of iui. It helps in implantation

No, we were not successful with this IUI. This post was for April. I recently received my 3rd IUI this past Sunday 7/27

I had my first IUI on July 31st, 2008. I was not given any medication since I was ovulating perfectly. I was asked to come for pregnancy test on August 16th i.e next week by this time I must have known my result. I am really tensed as the days are coming nearby. Sometime, I touch my tummy and keep saying " Are you there yet?". I know its crazy. But just keeping myself cheerful as I don't want to see any negative results. Also, I see my husband taking care of me like a baby already. For the past 10 days he was doing everything for me right from cooking, cleaning, laundry, oh my god!!. I don't want to disappoint him. We were TTC for the past 7 years.I know how much it means to us. So please pray for me.

Thank you so much for your wishes. So far everything is okay with me. No sign of periods yet. As per the monthly cycle, my periods date is wed Aug 12th, i.e 26 days cycle. So I will have to cross this Wednesday inorder to have a missed period....Believe me i am even afraid to go to bathroom thinking I don't want to get periods..:)..never been this much tensed before.I feel like my school days have come back again. I used to get scared to go for my school exams. I feel the same ..:)..

Hi, Tomorrow morning at 7.00 AM EST is my preg test and guess what I started getting spotting from afternoon. Not much but still I do have it. I am not sure whether I am really preg now. I called the hospital and told them about it. The nurse advised me to still come for a preg test to make sure. She also told me that sometimes lot of people tend to get slight bleeding during their first trimester. Anyway I am not going to give up hope...If not this time, will take medicine till I get it..I am more determined now...

I think I was so upset that I didnot post it after that. I got my periods exactly 1 hour before my pregnancy test. I was so upset.

Anyway I completed my second IUI on Sep 24,2008. I am right now in 2ww period. Again my preg test is scheduled for Oct 10th, 2008. I will surely update you guys this time!

I just had my first iui. I am very nervous as I have to wait 14 days. My husband has diabetes so that played a major factor. I have 2 children from a previous marriage. We have been married for a year and trying for longer. We want this to happen and i really hope it does. Did they say why yout first cycle did not work?

How many cycles did it take if you dont mind me asking?
