Post-Ectopic is it possible for periods to only come every other month?

Hello,

I lost a baby due to an ectopic pregnancy on August 6th of this year where I lost my left fallopian tube and I had a period on October 2nd which was the day that I was supposed to start. I haven't started this month yet, and I am concerned that I may only have a period every other month now. Is that possible? I don't think I could be pregnant because my husband and I have been using condoms. I have no idea what is going on. I had some pains for a couple weeks and they ended a few days ago. I thought it was cramping and I was a little concerned but it ended.

Oh wow, yeah my period was normal and regular prior to having my son. We had no problem getting pregnant with him and after I had him it was fine while I had the IUD to prevent pregnancy. I got the IUD out Sep. 2008 and it took almost a year to get pregnant with the ectopic baby because my periods were a week later each month. Now I have no idea what to expect because I only had the one period so far. Congrats on getting pregnant! That is wonderful. I really want another baby so bad. I hope I have a success story sometime in the future although we are not trying right now. Thanks for writing me!
