I went in for a 6w 4d u/s yesterday and nothing was detected in my Uterus..... they said could be a possible ectopic ....they took my blood to check hcg....it came back at 442..... does this look ectopic or possible I will just miscarry? I am not having pain or cramping now and no bleeding.....I am waiting for my RE to call me back, I just want to ask the dr.s here as well. PLZ respon as you never responded to my past questions. Thanks.

Hi Praying- They should have been able to tell with the ultrasound.. what did your doc say to do? Good luck!

he said u/s is not always accurate in detecting ectopic early on....only 30% of ectopics can be diagnosed through u/s. I will hear back from him later once he has received all my bw, I just wanted to post here as well and see if i can get feedback before he calls.

It sounds like your numbers are GREAT, i sure hope its in uterus and not in the tubes.. please keep me posted. think positive! Have u had prior ectopic pregnancys?

No my numbers are not good 2 weeks ago it was 232 and now 442 not good for 2 weeks growth it should be like 8000 or so by now compared to my numbers in the beginning. No prior ectopics...2 healthy pregnancies.

etopics numbers raise the same as any other pregnancy so i wouldnt really worry about that. It just doesnt seem that your numbers are where they need to be or rising correctly. They should rise 66% every 48 hours to end with a viable pregnancy :(

What has your doc said about the numbers being so low? Normally you cant see anything until numbers are higher than 1000.

well no ectopic but i am miscarrying....bleeding started this morning......my blood pressure also dropped and i got sick, it scared me for a whil but now i am better. Nurse said my body finally recognized the non viability and it went into shock a bit. Good thing is my hcg is dropping fast. The fatser the better so I can try again!

HCG numbers can vary Praying....every1's can be diff. and be healthy....Ectopic pregnancies the HCG can rise normally but usually they rise very slowly....if they dont double or rise 66%...Im sorry for your loss hun :-( Take time to grieve and heal hun,In my prayers....((HUGS))
