I have a question for you ladies- everyone is now starting to plan my SIL's baby shower for her "opps" baby and I just feel so heart broken would it be wrong if I didnt attend the shower?? I think I would feel bad but I would feel angry/uncomfortable there.. HELP! like when i finally get pregnant shw prob. wont come to mine eitehr. I mean I will get her a gift but I wont go... ???

Laurie--baby dust to you! My first ivf failed with a miscarriage last week. We've been ttc for 15 months! We're going for try #2 in Feb./March.

About your SIL shower....to get out of it and not feel bad about it, you could get "sick". That way, you don't have to lie about not going and no one will feel bad. It's just a suggession! My best friend's shower for twins is Feb. 21st.....that's going to be tough but I'm going to try and suck it up!

I went to my SIL's shower the week after finding out that my baby stopped progressing BUT i went cuz she and i are very close friends. I was on lots of meds to keep it together tho, lol!

Im so sorry Lara.. I know how you feel. Its a rough road we must face but we WILL achieve it.. :)

Also, I could get "sick" lol but I dont pull that off so well. But I dont know.. Thanks for your idea though.. and hope all is well when you go to the baby shower in feb..

and my SIL and I arnt "close" needless to say. We can manage eachother but other than that- I dont care so much for either of my SIL'S they are little brats.. Ages 23 and 18 or 19 she is lol

if my SIL and i were not really good friends there is no way i would have been at her shower!

yeah I just feel like when I get pregnant she'll be like "you were jealous that I was pregnant so you didnt come, so Im not going to yours!"
