periods after miscarriage

It can take upto a couple of months...sorry annjoy, it's simply a waiting game until it starts and talk to your doc to restart the Femara next month...

It took me exactly 6 weeks to get my period ( to the day). Good Luck and I am so sorry for your loss. On a positive note it only took hubby and I 4 months to get preggers again, I will be 6 wks on saturday,s o keep uoir head up! :)

Sorry you had to go through that. It's never easy. I got AF in only 4 weeks after miscarrying two. I might of been 3 or 4 days late but I got it as I was expecting it. That was just in March so we are still trying to get lucky again.

can i take provera to induce my period or shud i wait till i get my natural period, thing is if take provera and start my periods i can take femara so that is my concerns..THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR VALUABLE INPUTS

annjoy, I would not take anything until ur dr says it is ok. You have to make sure ur hcg levels are back down to 0, and in most cases they wait until you go 2 months first, to see if you have any spotting or any kind of indication that a period is on its way. I am so sorry for your loss. I lost a baby 3 months ago from an ectopic rupture, and just 2 1/2 weeks ago my dr put me on provera to induce good old flow. I had spotting at 4/5 wks post op, and they concidered that a period. I just never really got the heavy one until I induced a period. It will take some time, but make sure you ask your dr advice too. He knows your situation the best. Hang in there.
