has your doc asked you to lose weight before taking the clomid melissa? Some docs wont even give it to you unless you are a certain BMI. Maybe try taking a lesser dose of the metformin along with BC pils to get your weight under control before gettng pregnant. You can also tlk to your doc about prescription diet pills that can help as well. There is one out there called phentermine that is unlike any other diet pill. These trick your brain into thinking you are fuller sooner instead of making your tummy feel full. I have taken them and they work very well but are very strong so i only took a half a pill a day - anyway, talk to your doc about that? But dont dont dont take them if you are going to be actively trying to get pregnant, cant be good for a teeny tiny little fetus.

Good luck to you!!

Agree, if one can lose weight first, always best.. If this becomes too difficult or for other means and one is willing to take the risks of pregnancy while being overweight without other medical complications, then one can be rx some meds to help conceive
