I am very young (18) to be exact. I am getting married in December. I was diagnosed with P.C.O.S earlier in the year. Because of the P.C.O.S she says is "P.C.O.S is the reason your weight problem is so hard to maintain. I was wondering if there were any Certain foods or Certain Vitamins you could recommend me go on to help me lose some weight. Im honestly not doing it for the looks but my Cholesterol is really out of wack. I had some blood work done and I was tested for diabetes the diabetes came back negative. Thank-God.
But I want to give my actual results so im going to post them to see is someone can help me. I am also working out for an hour 3 times a week. I know it's not alot but my doctor said to much could hurt me. Also is that true? I know these are alot of questions sorry. I also would like to know if the vitamins or medicine if you recommend any are over the counter.
The results
Cholesterol,Total 191 high mg/dl 100-169
Triglycerides 163 High mg/dl 0-149
HDL Cholesterol 41 mg/dl 40-59
VLDL Cholesterol Cal 33 mg/dl 5-40
LDL Cholesterol Calc 117 High mg/dl 0-99
Those are my exact results under my Lipid Panel I think that's what it is all those are stated under what says Lipid Panel
I do understand I am at high risk for so many things Im so scared I just want to be healthy so in a year or two when I decided to have kids I know Im one step closer. Thank-You if you need any more information I will be glad to tell you thank-you -Alyssa

Look for the weight loss thread. I will make a new post there so it pops up on recent activity. Some of the ladies are talking about "the daily plate" website on there. It looks interesting too.
Good Luck to you.
