Christie, does it remove the hair for good?

Hi Ladies, my friend here in europe has PCOS and just had an operation about 2 weeks ago and she wanted me to ask everyone (I know it can be embrassing)...who is having problems with body hair and what have you done about it? Thank you once again Plus Dr. Q what can be done about this issue?
Birth control pill use for over 6 months can help, along with medications given by her doc such as spirololactone can also help, along with a few "antiandrogen" drugs available out there, but she can't be considering conceiving! Topical hair removal is by far the quickest way of removing the excess hair.
