PCOS and birth control pills

Hi, I'm really concerned about my PCOS and all my doctor told me was to take YASMIN. i really cannot take YASMIN. will it be detrimental to my health if i switch to LOGYNON or any birth control pill that does not cause swollen breasts, weight gain and nausea?

I have had PCOS for a very long time. I was on Ortho Tri cyclen for the first 5 years. Then took Yasmin for about 3 years and I switched to Nuva Ring. Nuva Ring was my favorite! Hope this helps!

Hi ina,

Switching would not be detrimental at all, but please ask your doc for any of the medications mentioned for an Rx
