PCOS

August 15, 2007

I was diagnoised with PCOS last summer about a year after

I gave birth to my first child.

I am only 23 and I really want to have another child, My finace

and I have been trying for about 2 months with no sucess

I know that isn't a long time but I was pregnant within

2 weeks of trying with my daughter. My doctor wants me to

see a fertility specialist asap because of all the factors .

I also had an abnormal pap last summer but they removed all

the cells and I have since had a normal pap, they do want

another one done tomorrow though.

Any advice?

I'm not sure about any of this I've never had to do this before

and I'm a bit scared.

What is your opinion?

Katie,

Your prognosis looks great and with simple medications, such as Metformin and Clomid, you may be able to get pregnant. I would encourage you to visit an RE so that testing can be done, but it all looks good especially since you already have a child. I wouldn't worry to buch about following up with the Pap smear, just keep your appt.
