I am already ten weeks. Is it too late?! Will my baby be born with birth defects since I am this far along?

Can I take paxil while pregnant? I am not ten weeks pregnant and was taking 20mg of paxil but I have cut it down to 10mg starting today. I really don't think that I can be off of it. I have tried before and cannot sustain the anxiety. Is my baby going to be okay or will it have problems??? I am so scared!
