Painful Nipples

Dr. Q,

I had my 2nd IUI with 150 units of Gonal F injections on Monday, I am only 4 dpo and my nipples are killing me. Do you have any reasoning as to why this would be? I have not yet started any progesterone as I will be taking my prometrium next Monday after they tell me what my levels are.

Also, I had this pulsating pain not so much a pain but a throb on my left ovary today when I stood up I had to hold my side near my ovary for a few seconds. What was that do you know?

I was able to conceive last month bust lost my pregnancy due to a chemical.

Im in the same boat as you with nipples hurting, but its always like that for me the second after I ovulate, then 1DPO and a few days after that, then they start to not hurt as bad.

All I know is that its from the progesterone. Im not sure about the pain in the left ovary though.

Please keep me posted on your progesterone result. Im getting mine done next Friday (18th) on 7DPO, so we will see.

Loads of sticky sticky sticky glue and I pray this one sticks for you. BFP DUST!!!!

Awesome def. keep me posted for sure. I look forward to hearing what the progesterone test is going to be. I will go Friday, but wont find out till that Monday.

Hi freddy!

I am 4 dpo today and have very painful nipples and aching breasts. Sort of uncomfortable! II know it is from progesterone because these are normal signs for me. I'm praying we get our miracles BFP HPT this month and our babies our on their way! :)

Im on 2DPO, and hurting bad still, but def. progesterone, and glad to have them hurting again, and know that I def. ovulated.

I pray we get our little miracles this cycle, and that they are very sticky sticky!

Thank you girls, you also. I guess it is progesterone levels and the only reason why I quesioned it is because this never happened to me so I got excited thinking it was a sign. :(

Its ok though sweetie, and progesterone is just confusing at times, and thats why I try and ignore all symptoms. Its what causes almost everything during pregnancy. You never know though that BFP could be just around the corner....your 8DPO today right??

Not to much longer, you could test on Monday @ 14DPO or on Saturday @ 12DPO.

I am 8 dpo today and have a blood test scheduled for Monday 14 dpo. I so want to buy a test but I refuse to get disapointed.
