Pain in lower right abdomen at 18 weeks pregnant, is this round ligament pain?

I am 18 weeks and 1 day, I barely showing, But last night I was woken up with a pain/burning sensation in my lower left abdomen, right next to my hip muscle. It went away after about 10 minutes, I was just wondering if it was ligaments stretching pain or If it could be something more serious?

This is called round ligament pain. It is normal at this stage of pregnancy. If you have further concerns, I would obtain an examination.

I agree with Dr. Evans, I didnt get mine until I was 28weeks and it was really bad, but sounds exactly like what your experiencing and its totally normal, and if it gets worse just call your doctor. I called because it got so bad and they said I shouldnt be cleaning or doing laundry and I laughed but they said you shouldnt be doing that stuff pregnant you should get people to do it...haha. But I enjoy doing stuff around here. Just take it easy and lay on her left side when it happens.

Wishing you the best and your halfway there!
