Pain before Ovulation

I have pain in my overies before I ovulate. My question is am I ovulating when the pain is going on or how long after the pain should i expect to ovulate? Does the pain indicate a problem? I had a m/c at 8weeks Sept 2006 and at 16weeks August 2007. I had two sons no problems 2002 and 2004. I am 38 years old.

Mittelschmerz is what this ovulatory pain is called and should occur between your cycles, right before and during ovulation and is completely normal if this is the case, especially if ewcm is noted around that time...If you don't get pregnant within a few attempts, you should see an RE so that help can be offered, and can find one near you using this site...
