hey ladies and docs..
i have heard that sometime in your mid-cycle you can have some spotting or some brown discharge mixed with your cm.. and i just was wondering that when you have that brown/spotting when are you supposely ovulating?? is it while you're spotting or like a number of hours after you have that spotting??

spotting while ovulating is highly unlikely, some women say they have had brown spotting during implantation but this also is rare. best way to know when ovulating is to work out how long your cycle is from day of first bleed to next period, count back 14 days and that would be when you ovulated, so if you had a 28 day cycle you would ovulate around day 14. then the next mth you could do ovulation test from day 10 so you dont miss your surge and also check yourself for the egg whit mucus dischage which is a good give away in ovulation too, good luck and if i can help let me know:)
