can you be pregnant if you dont ovulation or cervical mucus?

Hi I am a little confused I went to the OBGYN on Monday and I was on CD13 he said I had 4 mature follicles which looked good and gave me a HCG shot. When would I ovulate? As he told to BD on Tues, Wed and Friday but surely by Friday I would have already ovulated? Also I have pain in my abdomen on the left could this be ovulation pain?
you can not get pregnant w/out ovulation aelly. Ovulation is when the mature follicle comes out of the ovary and hopefully be fertilized by the sperm. Some ladies dont have much CM and get preggo but it is good to have a lot of egg white cervical mucus cuz it is "sperm friendly" and keeps the sperm alive long enough to get to the follicle and fertilize it.
ok, when you have creamy lotion like CM usually that is non fertile mucus. That comes at the end of the cycle with the progesterone your body produces after ovulation. Now, there is also like a tacky type of Cm as well and that is usally what someone has in the beg of the cycle if they are not dry.
