Ovulation question

Hi Angelfish,

The best thing to do is purchase an OPK and have intercourse that evening, as this will give you the best chance. Ovulation will occur on 26-14 (day 12) and would encourage starting on day 7. if i could add on to this please my question is the same as angelfish i got my period the 28th and ended on the 4th and my cycle is about every 23 days when do you think is the best time to have intercourse?

oh and when the opk is possitive for ovulation are you ovulating right then and there?

you ovulate the next day and best time is when OPK turns positive and/or you feel ewcm. You can read more about the mestrual cycle and fertility by searching the word "pituitary" on this site

Correct me if I'm wrong Dr. Q...but Jess if your cycle is 23 days then I think you just take 23-14 and that is the possible day of ovulation. But start taking an OPK test like a week earlier so you don't miss it. I hope I'm not wrong here. GOOD LUCK!!!
