Ovulation Pains?

July 10, 2008

My ovaries have been very tender and sore for the last three days. I have heard that you can feel ovulation. But it seems that ovulation pain is only on one side. I am having pains on both sides. Not bad pains. Just noticable pains. I should be close to ovulation. Could this just be my body getting ready to ovulate? Or should I be worried. This is my third cycle of clomid. Could the clomid be causing this? I'm trying to hold out and see if I ovulate before seeing my doctor. I'm not looking for a diagnosis. I'm just curious about what could be causing it and if I should see my doctor sooner. I have been look for answers through other peoples questions but I have yet to find anybody complaining of both ovaries hurting. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Holli, I am glad you found this site. I think that the clomid is causing the discomfort in both ovaries b/c the drug is meant to get you to ovulate. I think you will ovulate any day.

Good luck and lots of baby dust**********

Hi Holli,

Clomid can make you ovulate on both sides and maybe what you're feeling...

If the pain gets signficantly worse though, please see a doc
