Oh, and yes, wether the egg is fertilized or not, it will take around 6 days to travel the length of the fallopian tube and enters the uterus (hence when I say true "implantation spotting" should start at 6dpo)

how long does it last and when you ovulate how long does it take to get through the fallopian tubes?
Hi Jaymar,
Always best to start a new post so that it's not missed :)...
one ovulates about 14days prior to their period...so you ovulate right around cd21...the first day of full flow from your period is cd1...Make sure you BD at least every other day starting on cd14 and always good to look out for ovulation signs by checking ewcm and/or OPKs..
Good luck, and keep us posted..

In actuality, the pain one usually experiences is when the follicle is expanding and putting pressure on the ovary. Once the follicle ruptures, the pressure is gone and the egg is released and enteres the fallopian tube quite quickly in actuality since the fimbriae (fingers) of the fallopian tube that are on the ovary create enough suction to get the egg in the tube
