The shot isn't usually done until 28-30 weeks, unless you have bleeding beforehand. Then again after birth.

OK thanks for that advise, I really appreciate that so being that I tested positive at 7am when do you suggest that we BD? O are you O negative as well?

My Dr does a blood test around week 12 and at that time gives a Rhogam shot and again one more at week 28. Otherwise they also give it when one has some bleeding during the pregnancy.

Thanks guys very helpful but I didn't even know my blood type or what to expect until 2 miscarriages ago. I had my first one 08/06 and then 02/07. I haven't been pregnant since then and my husband and I have been trying for over a year now. I hope this really works because my marriage is on a rocky road and currently my husband and I don't live in the same household so its kind of hard to pinpoint when to BD. He really wants this as much as I do so hopefully all goes well. We will BD tonight and Tommorrow for sure though.Do you think when we BD last night if that helped?

Yes, any time up to a week before you Ov would help. Once you've ovulated, then bding is mainly just for fun bc the sperm probably won't have time to get up there. But since when you test and got a pos, you will ov in 12-36 hours, they'll have plenty of time to make their swim ;)

Thanks but sadly as I explained earlier my husband and I currently don't live together and unfortunately we were unable to BD last night and I am so disappointed! We did BD twice on the the day before I got the positive test results and within the twice included 1:00am which would have been technically the day of my positive resluts but I don't know if that help or not. I was hoping when I get off work today which will be at 5pm we could still have time to BD because the test specified a window of 24 hrs-48 hrs that i have before the actual ovulation so I don't know this is very confusing but I need some advise quickly please?

Ok so I still have a very high chance of becoming pregnant even though I didn't BD last night? I mean we BD the day before the positive results and at 1:00am the day of the positive results in which I tested and got a positive at 7:00am on the 16th. I am about to go crazy because I have wanted this for so so long with my husband and we have been through more than a Hurricane if you understand where I am coming from.My husband not living in the same house as me makes it more hard for us and being that we have to work and don't get off until 5pm or later. I just don't want to have to go through another cycle of this.....after 2 miscarriages and years of not even knowing if I could get pregnant is very frustrating.

You see its not him I am worry about because he has 2 kids already and though I had 2 miscarriages its has taken me over a yr and a half to conceive and that was without any fertility meds. Its so confusing not knowing if i ovulated last night or if I will ovulate tonight. I was getting a negative everyday starting on CD11 until CD16 so do I ovulate on the CD17 or CD18?
