Ovulation Level 49.6 Extremly higher than the average, what does this mean?

I'm late on my period and I found out that I ovulated a 49.6 and the average is a 6. Is that really bad and is there a chance that I can have mutiple births due to it being so high?

I'm going in for a P-test but the doc says if it's a No then they can induce me to make it come down but I was thinking maybe I should just wait untill my period comes down on it's own.. What if my body produces the Hcg later?

Hi Lauriel, which harmone level are you talking about? By what you say I assume its the Progesterone levels that confirm ovulation and if that, thats a great number and No, the average is not 6 ng/ml. If it indeed is the Progesterone level,it only indicates ovulation occured and not about pregnancy or multiples but with this level and a late period you could be preggo!!!! I hope so!! If it is the progesterone why would they induce you to get your period? Unless a cyst orsomething is present you should get a period on your own...Body produces HCG if pregnancy occured 6 days after ovulation. Good luck!!
