i have a small amount ewcm. i guess i would use the word "patchy". a couple times over yesterday and today it was obvious then other times it just seems wet. i have heard though to track with the MOST fertle cm you find on a given day. do you agree?

hi! was wondering if you could help me figure out what the cramps i am feeling are. i have irregular cycles so i THINK i am mid-cycle right now. i have been charting my temps, but, have been a bit sick so i dont know how accurate they are. i had a jump from 97.59 to 98.28 then the next day it went down to 97.69 and today 97.58 again. so...confusing. yesterday and today have egg white cervical mucus. ok thats my info, now last night i had very mild cramping on my left side. today it has continued and seems to be a little on both sides, but, right now on my right.

Since finding ewcm means you're about to ovulate, once seen it is some of your most fertile days. If you can, search the word "pituitary" and look for post I wrote on the Menstrual cycle to learn more about this. It's ok to have a little cramping, but just a little, more severe may mean other things for which a visit to a doc may be warranted.

If you truly have ewcm, then you're about to ovulate and this is what most likely is what's causing the cramps, called mittleschmerz. Good luck, if you can, check an OPK just to confirm, and please keep us opsted.
