I hace been on 50g of Clomid for two months now. I recently had a progestrone test and it was 43 after ovulation. The nurse said this was good what does it mean
Jayne-I don't mean to but in but I am on my 2 round of clomid at 50mg CD5-9 and the 1st month my progesterone was 19.8 and this month 18. My doctor says that means I ovulated which was good and what she wanted but I am still confuse as to how high your progesterone has to be to confirm pregnancy because last month I had a chemical pregancy. What days where you taking the clomid?
Unfortunately, progesterone values are no indicator of pregnancy. Some women even have their progesterone in the 100s and still dont get pregnant. Anything above 10 ng/ml can sustain a pregnancy and sometimes Drs say even 6 ng/ml. your values are way above that.
