ovulation

i am on clomid i had my lh surge 24 hours before ovulation went for a follicle check on day 15 had three perfect follicles doc said i will ovulate with in a couple of hours any way he was right i had massive pains last night that lasted about two hours and now today i am very soar. my question is when i had the active pain was i actually ovulating. or is there a chance that i still didnt ovulate yet. ibd right before the pain started so i am pretty sure i got very close to ovulation just not sure if we need to continue bd or if we ovulated already
