Dr. Q, Sorry to have so many questions. On birth control pills my periods were of course 28 days. When not on pills my periods were very regular at 31-32 days. After just stopping the pill do I expect ovulation on the 28 day pill schedule or my normal 31/32 day schedule?

Hi Jan...on birth control pills you don't ovulate. When you are on birth control pills your ovaries on in a "sleep" pattern and the period you have is not a true period. The best way to detect ovulation is via opk's (ovulation predicator kits) because your ovulation can occur anytime during your cycle. Keep us posted and ***babydust***
