Please Dr. i was tested and told that i have not been ovulating. my period is not regular, it is 8 months now that i saw my period last.

First you should set up a time to meet with your doctor and ask to have bloodwork done. Mention you have not had a period in 8 months and want to start ovulating so you can get pregnant. Also see if they will give you an ultrasound of your ovaries.
What they will probably do is give you a pill call Provera for 8-10 days which will bring on a period. Then on days 3-5 of your period you can take a pill called clomid or Femara which will help induce ovulation and you take those pills for 5 straight days.
