When you ovulate can the mucus be a slight pink and make the part of your undergarments look white with a pink (and I mean the slightest pink)film over it? I am in process of trying to get pregnant and have gone through the horrible time of getting dialated for the hysterosalpingiogram, which was very painful I might add, and some other things. And since the dialation and hysterosalpingiogram I have experienced what looks like ovulation mucus for the first time, but I am not sure. When it came out I felt it, it was a warm wet feeling and I have never had that before, but everything I read doesn't really (I feel) give me a good description. My hubby and I have been at it every other day in hopes that this time I will get pregnant because I have been told by many that the die test will help at getting you pregnant for some reason it works. I am a little skeptical, but hopefull too. Anyhow, was that ovuation mucus?

The most common scenario is that your cervix is a little "sore" after them trying to dilate you and giving you some of this pinkish discharge mixed with the ewcm giving you this type of character.
Yes, there is a slightly (albeit small) higher pregnancy rate the same month when the HSG is done...we think the HSG "cleans out the pipes" and allows for better communication between the sperm and egg.
