We went to my grandma's house (we do every year) and when we got home, I threw a little fit. Everything was fine, but all of a sudden I got pissed at my husband (for no real reason) and I ended up breaking a glass bottle of caramel syrup on my carpet. It also ruined my DVD player.
Anyway, at that very moment, I remembered that I never dipped the stick! So I went in there (it was about 6:30 PM, by this time) and dipped the stick. Set it under the counter and walked out. Waited a few minutes and came back in... this is what I saw:

I'm still in shock!! I had a plan the whole time to give DH a shirt that says "I'm gonna be a dad!" It took everything for me not to run out there and show him the test!! I had to stop myself and say out loud, "OK, what do I do now... what was the plan again?" Well, the shirt was hidden in the closet (that my husband has taken over, I can't even get in there), so I'm shaking, so excited, my voice is breaking and I go into the living room where my husband is and ask him for help getting something... his "Christmas Present". He came in there got it down, I gave it to him. This was the shirt I gave him:

Anyway, he opens the shirt, reads it, looks up at me with a smile and says, "You aren't pregnant... are you?" I said, "Yeah," and ran to get the test from under the counter. Grabbed it, handed it to him, he read it, put his arms around me and kissed me like a hundred times! He looked me in the eyes and said, "Merry Christmas!"
I wanted to take another test, but I ended up not dipping it long enough and it didn't work. Now I'm out of tests and I told my husband, I HAVE to go to the store!! He's like, "It's Christmas, nothing's open. Plus, you should wait a couple days and then take another one... it's better that way." I was like, "OK, but I don't know if I can wait that long!" This morning, he wakes up and says, "Baby!! Take another one! Take another one!" I was like, "I can't, I don't have anymore." He seemed bummed, but he pranced out the door this morning, a proud father! I'm such a proud mama!
He wore his shirt to work today and keeps saying, "Baby, I'm gonna be a daddy and you're gonna be a mama!" Everytime we look at eachother, we can't help giggling! I love it! After 3 long years, we finally have our Christmas miracle!
