October 2009 babies

well its kinda hard for me and dh to do shifts like that because he works from 3pm to 2am. But normally when he gets home he will feed him and change him. that an hour or two for me to get some rest and sometimes my mom will get up with Thomas. But today things are improving he has been up alot today and last night he slept for 6 hours i was thrilled. Thomas likes getting up around the same time my mom does while she is going to the restroom and getting a drink because he thinks its grandma time. and then he wakes up around the same time my dad has to get up at 5:30.. I can't breastfeed because my milk wasn't good. So i'm missing out on the great experience that everyone else is experiencing its hard tho... Its getting better because he has enough poopy and wet diapers a day.. I can't believe my baby is gonna 2 weeks tomorrow. I will post more pictures later..

Heatherann, can I ask why your milk isn't good? I have never heard of that just wondering

Oh so its not safe for him to nurse due to the meds- well I will tell you my first baby was primarily a formula baby and he is a wonderful little boy, smart and very bright never been sick except for the common colds and never any ear infections I also give this baby one formula bottle a day so its fine you baby will thrive and try not to feel sad about not BF'ing you are doing a great job :)

When is it safe to put a baby in a bouncer seat?? I want to put Thomas in his but I don't want it to hurt him. he will be 2 weeks old tomorrow.. Do u think it safe enough know?? Caryn thank you that's so much relief. I hear that bottle fed babies are a risk at a lot of things.. So i don't if i should believe it or just let it go out the other ear..

You can put him in bouncer seat, just make sure he is buckled in tight=)

Heather dont stress the formula thing~ Thomas will be fine.

He can go in a seat as long as you buckle him and watch him. Casey goes in his vibrating chair and his swing all the time and since he has been home from the NICU!

We also put Addy in her bouncer, she does not love it, but we keep trying it for short periods of time...
