November/December IVF's... Anyone want to join in???

Hi Katie! Well I have done 2 IVF's in the past year (April & Oct) which both ended in chemical pregnancies. I decided to change Dr's due to the fact that I was not very happy with my previous RE. I am now treating with Dr. Q (which by the way, I would have to say is the most AMAZING Dr. in the world)

After having 2 failed IVF's, my positive attitude towards ever conceiving again was gone. After meeting with Dr. Q that all changed. He is such a positive man. He told me not to give up hope. So I am back in the game again. I have 10 frozen embies from my 1st IVF cycle that we will be using for my FET. I started my Lupron injections on 11/12 and am still currently on it. I meet with Dr. Q again on Monday for another ultrasound. Other meds to follow depending on my progress with the Lupron. If all goes well I am looking at a transfer date on or around 12/7. I hope this is it, cuz I'm not sure if I could handle another disapointment.

I've read ur journey, and I hope this is it for u too. I pray everything works out perfectly for u and I'm excited to follow u thru ur current IVF Journey.

I have heard of it but dont really no what it is or when they found out you have one

I am on my 1st IVF and hoping this is all I need

I am not triggering today for the follies are 1.1-1.7 so they want to give them more time but this week forsure I willl have ER and ET so excitedly nervous!!!

Well girs its finally offical we are doing our 1st IVF+ICSI with sperm asperation via biopsy. For those who dont know my story we have been ttc for 3yrs and have known and been planing IVF+ICSI for the past 18months. We have male and female factor infertility (pcos, endo, low sperm count bad morph and motility and dna frag issues) We have are mummy and daddy to 7 little angels in heaven.

This is just quickly what we where told today at our nurses appt. I'll updat it all better when Im more awake (its 10pm here in Aust)

I start Lucrin injections (10units) as of Wednesday and stop the BCP on Friday. Then hopefully get af a few days later. Then on Thursday I go in for a blood test between 7:30 and 8:45am phone in for the results between 2pm-4pm and thern they will tell me what the next step is eg if I start FSH injections which will be Puregon 150 (I will start all the reg bloods and u/s from the day I start that) or hold of on starting the Puregon for a few days etc. Once I start the Puregon and my follies are the right size then I'll be told to trigger at a certain time (they said I might have to trigger at some crazy time like 2am or something jst depends on what time my retival is etc). Our Retrival and Transfer will all take place before christmas but we wont know if it has wrked till after the new yr. Im pretty overwhelmed by the injections and they freak me out a little but I'll find a way to deal with it. Eeep its really happening I could be preggers in jst a few-ish wks woohoo. Oh please please please let this all wrk.....oh and they only put back 1 5day embie only reasons they will put 2 back is if they on day 3 dont look like they'll make it to day 5. Oh and another thing is that there is to be NO bd'ing from the day I start the Puregon right up til we find out if it wrks. And if it wrks they said they usually recommand not bding till you are 2-3months and then ot on a reg basis. So told dh he had better get alll he wants now before I start the Puregon coz it'll be the last he gets for the next 10months lol

Hey ladies.. Glad to see that there are so many of us on here =) This is awesome. We have some that have done the IVF be4 and some that are new to it which is so wonderful!!!

MOG.. Im so very sorry for ur failed IVF's in the past and ur chemical pregnancy. It hurts no less knowing that u were preggo and then M/C it =( Im so glad that u found Dr q. I was thinking about going to him myself also but since I live in SC it was going to be really hard. LOL! Im glad that he gave u loads of hope =) Did he say how many u will put back this time around??

Babydust.. Like Moni said.. It is when the embryo doesnt implant all the way so it will just seem that ur AF is late a few days and then af will come. Most ppl dont know unless u test early. I have had 1 myself along with the other pregnancy losses that I have had. Good luck today with ur appt. Cant wait to hear!!!

Flutter.. Wow u surely have been through so much but I am glad that ur able to move forward now =)U will have a great New Year BFP =) I just know it. I wish that they would put back more then 1 for u tho =( Alot of places are going that now tho. only putting back 1 but just remember that all it takes it is 1 =) Plz keep us posted and yes tell DH to get all he can now. LOL! That is what I told my DH also. That we will be not BDing at all soon. LOL! U will do fine with the injections hun =) The needles are really not that big at all and u can barely even feel them. It is the 1st few that get u nervous but after that then ur a PRO!!!

AFM... I am on my 3rd day of stims =) its moving right along. I go to morrow for B/W to check E2 level and HCG bc I am on a microdose of Ovidrel so they have to make sure that it is working and to see if I stay at 225 ui of follistim.

My b/w and u/s went well early this morning. I now have 13 measurabel follies and a bunch more that are pretty close. My sonographer said that they'll probably keep me on the meds for one more night (tonight), whcih will make this stim day #10. I'll know for sure when the nurse calls me with this morning's results. I'm pretty sure I'll be going back in tomorrow morning for another round of b/w and u/s. Hopefully I'll get to trigger tomorrow night. I can definitely tell that I've action in my ovaries! Good gosh I can feel them everytime I move now. It's just pressure, what a strange feeling!
