So been trying TTC really hard for nearly 2 years now without any luck :0( Done load of blood tests now having a HSG (really scared) but i can take anything now and due my first IUI next cycle -
oh hun i'm so sorry AF showed up i have to say i really really did have my fingers crossed for you i know its so easy to get your hopes up if its even a min late i even think i start seeing signs like feeling nausea, sore bbs, tired etc but i guess thats just AF getting ready to rear its head lol but still we wait and hope...LOL.....
Doctors are so frustrating i'm the same way with mine. Firstly i have to travel like 2 hours to get there, then they always make me wait nearly an hour then sometimes its just a 5 min visit that i'm sure they could have done on the phone....I still haven't heard anything from my docs and my AF is due soon and like you i really want to get started on the pergonal this month i'm not sure if they'll let me take it if i've not had the laproscopy but i'm goin to ring and see if i can do it anyway ...
I know i prob sound a bit stupid but what is clomid anyway? lol is it injectable or pill? either way it seems to do the job ha ha
I just read that some of the ingredients in injectables are collected from nun's wee .... aghhhhh seriously i read it on here OMG ha ha i wish i had stayed in ignorant bliss ....
Hope you get ur scan, just rock up to the er with a blanket and flask of tea and don't move until they give you one... ha ha then they'll prob send you to psych ward lol ....

HAHA OMG really nun's wee...that's hilarious! I was cracking up after I read that.
So here is the update. I did end up getting in to see my doctor today which was (CD 2), they did the u/s and everything looked great, there were no domin. follicles so they said I'm all clear to start the clomid. Clomid is a med that helps stimulate the ovaries to make you ovulate. Which is what the doctor say I need. She thinks this will do the trick. So I will be taking that CD 5-9. I get to start it Sunday...YEAAAA I'm excited to get the ball rolling here. OMG I was so afraid that I was going to have to wait another month just because of this holiday weekend. The clomid is also a pill not injectable. Then day 6-10 I have to take estrogen pills too. On day 13 I go back to the dr for another U/S, and based on the results, they will give me the HCG injection there. So I'm really hoping that this does it for me. So cross your fingers hun.....
I'll keep my fingers and toes crossed for you that you can get going and start the pergonal w/o having the laparoscopy done first.

kristyn- I wanted to wish you well with the clomid. I just finished my first cycle (days 5-9) and didn't really experience any of the bad symptoms that everyone talks about, just a couple of hot flashes at night. I had the hcg trigger shot on cd12 and well, now I'm just waiting. Keep us posted on your clomid journey!
Awww Nellie thank you! I really hope this works out for me. I'm excited and nervous at the same time. I'm glad you didn't experience any of the bad symptoms, I hope I don't either. I just want sunday to get there so I can start the clomid. I will definitely keep you guys posted on my journey.
